Obituary -- Our classmate Kathleen (MacDonald) Tapscott of Pinellas Park passed away unexpedtedly but peacefully on December 1, 2016, surrounded by her loving family. Born in Waukegan, Illinois, to the late Edgar and Elaine MacDonald, she married Jack Tapscott on March 22, 1970. She was a graduate of Boca Ciega High School and attended St. Petersburg Junior College where she studied nursing. Her passions in life were her family, friends, and music. Kathleen is survived by daughters Becky Kemerer-Ward (Jeff), Randi S. Kemerer (Char Iannello), Jacki Lea Hill (Bill); companion, John "Doc" Halliday; brother, James (Val) Schuffler; grandsons, Tyler D. Hand and Tanner D. Hand; and granddaughter, Brianna K. Hand. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 40 years, Jack Tapscott. There will be a visitation from 10:00 am to 12 noon on Saturday, December 10, 2016, with a funeral service to follow at noon at Anderson-McQueen Funeral Home, 7820 38th Ave N, St. Petersburg 33710.Burial will follow at Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
