Classmate and friend Patricia Patton Cravey passed from complications of Alzheimer's on November 7, 2016. A memorial service for Pat, under the direction of Groover Funeral Home, will be held at Mansion Memorial Park in Ellenton, Florida, at 10:00 on Monday, November 14.

Patty and I had many hilarious moments while attending Disston. I am very sad for her struggle with Alzheimer's as she had a keen intelligence and a quick wit. She came from a remarkable family.

I also went way back with Patty. Pasadena Elementary, Disston Junior High and Bogie. Very sad news to receive. May you rest in peace my friend. I know your mom and dad are welcoming you to the Pearly Gates.
