Christian Faye Kennedy of Columbia died Friday, Oct. 10, 2008, from injuries sustained in a car accident. She was 35.
Ms. Kennedy was born June 24, 1973, in Muncie, Ind., to Jackie and Tina (Bryan) Kennedy II. She attended Warren High School in Gurnee, Ill., and lived in Illinois before moving to Columbia seven years ago. She enjoyed cooking and had a love for animals.
Ms. Kennedy is survived by her parents; two brothers, Mike Kennedy of Fairfax, Va., and Jackie Kennedy III of Winchester, Ind.; paternal grandfather, Jack Kennedy of McMinnville, Tenn.; maternal grandmother, Faye Bryan of Tyler, Texas; two aunts, Teresa Baugh of Tyler, Texas, and Tammy Bryan of Rockport, Texas; an uncle, John Bryanof Minneapolis, Minn.; a little girl she loved as her own, Leilonnie Kennedy of Auxvasse; a niece; a nephew; and several cousins.
Funeral services were Thursday at Walker Funeral Home in Winchester, Ind. Memorial contributions may be sent to Mothers Against Drunk Driving, Bldg. C, Suite 10, 5224 S. East St., Indianapolis, IN 46227.
