Jenny was suffering with pancreatitis when she also developed pneumonia.  She has been seriously ill, and has has some very scary moments.  She is now in CICU at Princeton Hospital in Birmingham.  Please pray for her recovery and also for her family.

My mom and dad visited Jenny in the hospital today...  I didn't know in time to tell them that Keith was at UAB or they would have gone to visit him, too.

The nurse told Shirley that Jenny was doing pretty good.  Right now they are giving her a nutritional iv...  They don't want anything going through her stomach while she's healing.  They let Shirley know that it will be a long healing process.  That news sounds very optimistic to me.  She's still in CICU and still on a ventilator, though they're slowly easing off on the amount of oxygen she's getting.

Mom told her that we're all keeping each other up to date about her and she told her that the class and all of her friends were thinking about her and hoping she's better soon.  Jenny was able to mouth "Thank you" to my mom...

So, continue to keep her in your prayers, please. 

Hi I will be praying for them, the bible says where two or three touch and agree that he would be in the midst.

When I called to get a physical address for Jenny, they said that we couldn't send her cards until she was in a private room. I know that her parents have been driving home to Haleyville each night, though.

So, if you want to send cards for Jenny, send them to her parent's house so they can take them to her and put up in her room when she moves to a private room:

Update from Jenny's sister about 7:00 tonight on facebook:

"Jenny is on dialysis (sp) today. Her oxygen level is down to 35%, but her peep is back up to 7. She is running a low fever. Hopefully she will be off the vent soon. Thank you for all the prayers."

Jenny is now in a private room, and her mom is able to stay with her all of the time.   Jenny is still in a lot of pain, so please continue to remember her in your prayers.
