Carl J. Corso Sr.

March 31, 1955 - April 23, 2024

Carl J. Corso, Sr., 69, of Robbinsville, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital at Hamilton.

Born in Trenton, NJ, he was a lifelong Hamilton Township resident.

Carl was a Union Brick Layer for the International Union of Brick Layers and Allied Craftworkers Local #3281, Bordentown, NJ, where he retired in 2011 after more than 40 years of service.

Carl was a football coach for the Hamilton Football League and was very active with AFAR, where he helped a lot of people to obtain sobriety, and a mentor with Nar-Anon Family Support Groups.

Predeceased by his parents, James and Jean Lamantia Corso, his son, Anthony Corso, and his brother-in-law, Robert (Witt) Longo. He is survived by his wife, Gina M. Longo Corso; his son, Carl J. Corso, Jr., and his wife Michele; his grandchildren, Mateo, Harper, and Kingsley; his sister, Donna Travea, and her husband Joseph;  brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Dominic Longo, Louis Longo, and his wife Liz Conti, Chickie Longo, and his wife Silvanna; Patricia Longo; and many nieces, nephews, and dear friends. 

Calling hours for family and friends will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at St. Anthony’s Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Hamilton, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial will follow on Friday, at 11:00 a.m., at St. Anthony’s Church.

Burial will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the City of Angels NJ, Inc., PO Box 10237, Trenton, NJ 08650.

There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
