Rochelle Fityere, 68, of Ewing, NJ passed away at home on March 12, 2025. She was born in Trenton, NJ and resided in Ewing, NJ. Rochelle was a devoted wife, daughter, sister & aunt. She enjoyed trips to the beach, trying out new restaurants, swimming in her pool and spending time with her beloved Boston Terrier, Cali Girl. She was the Business Relations Specialist and a Board Trustee of Tuxedo Hearts Boston Terrier Rescue. She assisted in fostering, providing medical care and adoptions for these precious pups she loved so much. Rochelle was a wonderful and caring woman with a heart of gold who will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Predeceased by her parents, Carmen & Dolores Rettzo, she is survived by her husband John Fityere and his daughter Christine Fityere, brother & sister-in-law Carmen and Ramona Rettzo, sister and brother-in-law Cheryl & David Uhaze, sister & brother-in-law Sandi & Sean McCarthy, nephew Richard Rettzo, nephew & his wife Joseph & Sandra Rettzo, niece & her husband Megan & Tom Wear, niece and her husband Kaitlin & Sean Minnick, niece Tamara Uhaze, great nieces Elizabeth Rettzo & Lexi Rettzo, great nephews Thomas Rettzo & Finlo Wear and extended family.
Also predeceased by her in-laws, John & Alice Fityere, she is survived by sister-in-law & brother-in-law Claire & Jack Schmittinger, brother-in-law & sister-in-law Gary & Mary Fityere, sister-in-law & brother-in-law Karen & Sal Bruccoleri, sister-in-law & brother-in-law Kim & John McNamara, several nieces, nephews and extended family.
Services will be held on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at St. James Roman Catholic Church, 115 E. Delaware Ave., Pennington, NJ 08534. Viewing will be held from 9am-10am, followed by a funeral mass and burial in St. Mary’s Cemetery in Hamilton, NJ.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Tuxedo Hearts Boston Terrier Rescue, 66 Stanford Rd. E, Pennington, NJ 08534.
