Michael F. Parrotta, 64, of Bordentown Township passed away on Tuesday, October 24, 2023. Born in Trenton NJ, he was a life-long area resident and was a graduate of McCorriston High School and Rider College. He retired from the State of NJ after over 25 years of service in the Departments of Transportation and Higher Education, and he operated his own accounting business. Mike very much enjoyed his music especially the band Boston, nature, gardening, and nurturing his fig trees. He had a love for fishing, animals (especially his white shepherds) and sports. An avid fan of the Washington Redskins and LA Lakers, he was always willing to strike up a conversation. Mike loved to share his knowledge of the world and his wise advice with anyone who asked. He was a member of and played basketball for the Cook AA in Trenton and belonged to the Elks in Bordentown.

Michael is predeceased by his parents, Luciano and Iolanda G. (De Rosa) Parrotta, an infant brother Ricci and his beloved daughter Morgan R. Parrotta.

He is survived by his loving wife Sherri of over 32 years, caring daughter Madison and fiancé Adam Hillman, sister Mary Courtney; in-laws, Mary and James Burzachiello, Kimberly and William Carothers; nephews, Aaron and Ryan Courtney; nieces, Samantha and Jessica Carothers, as well as many other close cousins, relatives and good friends who will miss him dearly.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Tuesday, October 31, 2023, 11:00am at St Anthony’s Parish, 626 S. Olden Avenue, Trenton NJ 08629. Family and friends may visit prior to Mass from 9:00am-10:55 at the church. Interment to follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Arrangements under the auspices of David C. Chiacchio and the compassionate staff of the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home.
