CAMPBELL, Dillard "Dinger" Age 44 of Hamilton went home to be with the Lord at his residence on Tuesday, April 11, 2006 at 3P.M. He was born in Hamilton on May 11, 1961, the son of Dave and Donna (Brinegar) Campbell. Dinger was an avid golfer at the Elks Country Club and Vista Verde Golf Course, playing as often as possible. He was well known for his willingness to help others. He is survived by his mother, Donna Bown of Hamilton; by his father and step-mother, Dave and Wanda Campbell of Hamilton; one brother, Marty Blackwell; three sisters, Angel Bown, Shelly Hampton and Lisa Campbell all of Hamilton. He was a devoted uncle to Allyson, who was the daughter that he never had, she was the love of his life and his joy and she equally admired him and he was also her security blanket, always being their for her. He also leaves three other nieces; Samantha Blackwell, Jessie Campbell and Samantha Blackwell-Hampton; five nephews, Matthew Hickey, Adam Blackwell, Alex Blackwell, Brandon Cummins, Cameron Hampton and a special uncle whom he dearly loved Russell Saylor of Hamilton. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louise and Dinger Saylor, Jessie and William Campbell, great-grandma, Ethel Howard, a devoted aunt, Janavee Howard who helped raise him and he loved them all dearly, also by special friends, Raymond "Cuz" Combs and Kenny Vanderpool. He will be sadly missed but not forgotten by his many friends and relatives. The family wishes to express a special thank you to his devoted friends; the Combs Family, Robin Madden Family, Johnny Newman, Jerry Anderson and Ralph and Debbie Hacker. Funeral services will be held at the Brown-Dawson Funeral Home, 330 Pershing Ave. on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 at 1PM with Rev. Josh Willis, Pastor of the Grace Chapel of Praise officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Monday from 5PM to 8PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family through the funeral home.
