POWELL, Odis L. Age 57 of Hamilton, passed away at Hospice of Butler and Warren Counties on Tuesday, September 19, 2017 after a battle with cancer. Odis was born in Hamilton, Ohio on May 1, 1960 to Otis Powell and Eva Williams Powell. Odis worked at First Financial Bank Lock Box, Springdale, Ohio. He was a kind, loving and giving young man that was always willing to lend a hand to anyone. To know Odis was love him. Odis loved cooking, baking, yard sales and thrift stores. While it's breaking our hearts at his passing we know he is in heaven with God and those that passed before him. Odis is survived by his siblings, Phil "Shot" (Nancy) Mullins, Debbie (Gordon) Adams, Jennifer Downie, Charles (Debbie) Sizemore, Mark (JoAnn) Powell and Ruth (James) Bustle; numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Odis was preceded in death by his parents, Otis and Eva Mae Powell; sisters, Phillis Ann Mullins, Becky Franklin and Pam Born; brother, Tim Powell. Celebration of Odis's Life will be held on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 1:00 PM at St. Clair Township Community Center, 2488 Summit Rd., Hamilton, Ohio, 45013. The family would like to thank the nursing staff at Butler/Warren Hospice, for their care and kindness. They would also like to thank Dr. Pastor for being such a good doctor and always helping Odis. He really liked her.
