SPEAKMAN, Robert Albert James After a brave struggle with pulmonary fibrosis and congestive heart failure, Bob passed away peacefully with his family at his side on January 17, 2015. Beloved husband of Margaret and loving father to Blake (Erica). Lovingly remembered by his sister-in-law Joan and his brothers-in-law Murray and Rick. Much loved uncle to Brian (Michelle), Stephen (Mandi), Christopher and Kyle and great-uncle to Ryan, Jacob, Adriane and Colin. Survived by his sister Susann (Gary) and his niece Paige. In his early days, Bob worked as Manager at Sam the Record Man, followed by many years as Realtor at Royal LePage, and finished his work life in Security. Bob was a good man who will be remembered for his tremendous sense of humour and sharp wit to all who knew him. Cremation has taken place. A celebration of Bob's life will be held on Sunday, January 25th from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. at our family's favourite pub, Fisher's Pier 4 at 554 James Street North in Hamilton. In lieu of flowers, donations to Canadian Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation or Heart & Stroke Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
