KENNETH R. GRZELAK  "KENNY"

Age 31, of Portage, passed away at Porter Memorial Hospital, Valparaiso, on Monday, February 25, 2002. He was a graduate of Bishop Noll High School and a member of Ironworker's Local #395 and Local #1. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Benny Grzyb. Ken was the loving husband of Lisa Grzelak; and loving father of Sean P. Ellison, both of Portage. He is also survived by his father, Leonard Grzelak of Munster; mother, Diane (Dave) Durham of Hammond; brother, David (Elizabeth) Grzelak of Detroit, MI; grandmother, Sophie Grzyb of Calumet City; 2 nephews, Patrick and David Grzelak of Detroit, MI. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, March 1, 2002 at 7 p.m. at the Burns Funeral Home, Hobart Chapel, corner of Rt. 51 &7th Street. Cremation at the Burns Funeral Home Crematory will precede the memorial service. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday 5-7 p.m., time of service, (casual dress requested).
