Derrick Thompson passed on Thursday, January 17, 2002. I still have the email that Dennis Myers sent me on January 18, 2002 letting everyone know what had happened to him. I still remember Derrick coming to Winthrop and visiting me and how some of my friends would tell me they met someone on Black Planet named "Cyclops". I miss you to this day D!
