I didn't know him as well as some others may have. But I do remember how we were in Mr. Forshey's Algebra class. Vernon was very nice to me & I was glad to know him. May he continue to rest in peace.
Vernon was one of my best friends at the time of his death. He was a gentle, loving person that never met a stranger. I will always consider him my angel.
Vernon was one of the funniest people I knew.. He was always trying to make me laugh about something.. We had some great times in band and keyboarding.. I miss him very much still and know that one day we will meet again..
Vernon and I were close and alot of yall (classmates) thought we made the perfect couple. lol. He was a sweet, kind, loving friend that i hold dear to my heart everyday. With his moms recent passing i know he is not lonely. She loved and missed him more then words could say. I recently found a letter he wrote me back in North District and it put a smile on my face to know that i will always have those memories close by...
I REMEMBER VERNON. AKA LIL GIBSON. THAT WAS MY BUDDY. VERNON WAS ALWAYS VERY NICE AND WAS FUNNY AS I DON'T KNOW WHAT. IT BRINGS TEARS TO MY EYES JUST TO THINK ABOUT HIM NOW. MY DAD AND I WENT TO SEE HIM IN THE HOSPITAL AFTER HE HAD HIS LAST SURGERY AND HE WAS DOING FINE AND JUST AS HAPPY AS HE WANTED TO BE. THAT WOULD BE THE LAST TIME I WOULD SEE HIM. I AM GLAD I GOT TO KNOW HIM THOUGH. HE WOULD BE SOMEONE HARD TO FORGET.

Vernon, Vernon!!! Vernon was a nice and sweet guy. I remember him always making me laugh. In the 7th or 8th grade he and I had I.S.S. together for 3 days. We gave Mrs. Folk a really hard time, but we had a lot of fun and normally thats not the case in I.S.S. I remember we had to take our Physicals for P.E. and Vernon went and told everyone that I weighed more than him. He thought that it was the funniest thing. Him and my adopted brother was really close (Micah Rivers). He called and told me that he had passed away. I remember feeling torn, b/c he was soooo young and such a nice person. Vernon, We Love You, RIP! Gone But Not Forgotten. *OH, yea I do remember: He didn't like being called Gibson*
