OWEN, Patricia, 73, of Surprise, Arizona, formally of Westminster and Parker, Colorado, Tacoma Washington, and Lake Arrowhead, California, passed away on October 02, 2020 of a brain injury sustained in a fall at her home.

Patricia was born on June 07, 1947 in Hempstead, New York to George Schenkein and Viola Taylor. She graduated from Kecoughtan High School in Hampton, Virginia and attended Los Angeles Pierce College. She met her husband Bob there and they were married September 09, 1967.

Patricia was an accountant with Litton Industries and helped put Bob through the last years of his education at Cal State, Northridge. After raising her two sons, James and Timothy, she went to work as a Gift Planning Representative for the Christian humanitarian organization, World Vision, where Bob worked. Patricia and Bob loved to travel around the world and throughout the USA. She loved her Lord and influenced many for Him!

Patricia was a loving wife, mother and grandmother of 5 grandchildren. She is survived by her devoted husband of 53 years, Robert "Bob" Owen; sons, James (Larisa) Owen and Timothy (Angela) Owen; and her beloved grandchildren, Kaila, Nicholas, Logan, Nathaniel and Garrett; sister, Leslie Nygren; and brother, Robert "Bob" Schenkein.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Crossroads Church at Northglenn Campus at a later date to be determined.
