Brian thanks for your payment. I wanted to let you knowI received it.

We have gotten some great pics together for the reunion. We hope you all will enjoy them. We have shared some great memories in the past and we will continue to share more in the future. Our class never says good-bye.

Anita,

Our seasonal tix are behind the bullpen, but these are the ones the girls won for the contest, so I have no idea where the tix will be. I am hoping to get them behind the digout, or IN the dugout :)

Hello people,

Just a reminder we'll be putting together pictures and info boards for the reunion on 6-6-08 if there's anything you would like included please send to Patty. Please get your payments sent in asap, it will really help us out on the count. For all those that don't "do" computers please let your friends no about the deadline
(Eric Hoeft, Kevin etc...).

Hi everyone,

I didn't make it to the 10 year reunion, and this time around America is a bit far away (I'm living in Europe), but it was really nice to see some of the photos from waaay back then.

Thanks Patty, I'm guessing it took a lot of your time to get this site up and running.

It stunned me to see how many of our Classmates have passed away since 1988. We had such a small class and know that 6 of us haven't made it this far is more than a bit shocking.

If anyone out there wants to contact me for any reason, my email address is kcaineth@yahoo.com

Yeah Kenny it is depressing to know those people are no longer with us but they are in our hearts and in spirit.

I am very excited that the site took off so well and everyone is enjoying it. Especially since there is no cost like classmates except for the domain fee once a year but that is nothing. This site to me is much easier and user friendly. I am pretty proud of it. Thanks

Austria, how nice. What made you go there?

Hi again everybody,

Brian, Patty M. and Mindy life is going wonderfully great in Vienna. I moved over to Europe in 1999 on a whim, at first it was only a planned short vacation, for Christmas, then I fell in love (with Austria, and Nina) and decided to stay.

It's difficult to describe the lifestyle here in Europe. Before I came here I never imagined I would have moved out of Michigan, I didn't know that there could be any place better than America, ha! If anyone here on this message baord ever gets the chance to visit any European country I say "go for it!" Life here is beyond belief, beyond my wildest dreams.

As for my life here, and what I do.... I'm just a normal guy, living a normal Viennese life. (smiling) My job, it's with a very small, but very old company, in logistics. I keep track of precious metals for a small firm, we have customers throughout central and eastern Europe.

I can't help but think back to the days when I lived in Hamtramck, hell, I lived my first 29 years in the same house on winfield street (by the city hall). I've heard that Hamtramck has changed enormously in the last several years, that I wouldn't recognize it if I were to ever return for a visit, is that true?

Genie's Wienies is gone, most of the stores on Conant have changed or are gone, the yearly Hamtramck festival shrank to almost nothing, what else has changed? How's Detroit?

I kind of regret that I didn't see more of America while I was there, it's funny, but as the saying goes "You don't know what you have until you lose it."

Patty Koliba (Craig)

Hey Patty. Yes I did get my invite. My check will be in the mail this week! See you in July :)

Patty Mashike

Ken glad to hear everything has turned out so well for you. Did you end up getting married?

I have never been to Europe but hope to go one day.
As for Hamtramck, yes a lot has changed. I havent been there for many years. At least 10. I dont even go back into Hamtracmk. There are quite a few people that still live in Hamtramck though.

Thanks Patty. I wanted to make sure you got it. See you then.:)

Hi Patty just letting you know that I will not be able to be at the reunion. I missed the 10th now 20th maybe I can shoot for 30th. I just got out of the hospital today as a matter of fact, was in for 9 days had emergency back surgery and will be either in wheel chair or walker for must of the next 6-8 weeks. Sucks, I joke about being old but now I have the equipment. I wish everyone well and great health. Put please feel free to email me anytime.

05/27/08 07:04 AM #128

Kenneth Kuczynski (Weiss)

Patty, Yep, I was here less than a month before I got married to Nina (a whirlwind romance), and I took her family/last name since it is/was much easier to pronounce than mine.

Suzana Todosov (Bosnjakovski)

Ken,

I know what you mean by life in Europe. I lived there for under 2 years before coming back to Hamtramck and joining the Cosmos. I lived in Macedonia. Life is different there. It is very laid back and you enjoy just doing nothing...at least that is how I remember my stay in Europe.

As for Hamtramck, I work in the city and it has changed A LOT! Genies Wenie's has left, but they reopened in Warren or Sterling Heights...not sure of the city, but they are still around in Michigan. Hamtramck, it self, has changed and I do hope that one day it will turn around. I miss the Hamtramck of the past. I loved walking around and just enjoying being out and about in the city.

Take care!

Patty Mashike

Wow Mary. Well we will miss you there. Make sure you check out the site for pictures afterwards. The reunion is just about at your 8 weeks so if you change your mind let us know by the 20th of June. I hope all goes well with your recovery. Having back surgery is major and takes a lot to recover so be patient.
