James Byron Mathers Jr., age 50, passed away Tuesday, April 9, 2013, in Ormond Beach, Fla. James was born in Brookville, Pa. on November 21, 1962, son of the late James Byron Mathers Sr. & Ruth Mathers (Barnett) who resides in Harborcreek, Pa. James attended Harbor Creek High School. He spent several years in Virginia working in construction. He loved to be outdoors, enjoyed hunting, fishing, watching the Steelers & NASCAR. He loved his children & grandchildren. In addition to his mother, James is survived by his three daughters, Destiny Thornton & husband Jesse, Brittany Mathers, Amber Mathers & fiancé Bryan; son, James Byron Mathers III; five grandchildren, Braeden 9, Logan 9, Ashton 7, Braeden 4 & Nicholas 1; three sisters, Marcia Anderson, Jody Davis & husband Alan of Orlando,Fla., Kelly Barker & husband Jeff. He will also be missed by all of his nieces & nephews. A service will be scheduled at a later date at Greenfield Baptist Church in North East, Pa.
