Mr. Francis "Butch" Luther Fairfax, 62, of Harlem, entered into rest on August 23, 2022.

Butch was born in Virginia and was the son of Carol Dowdy and the late Francis Fairfax. He enjoyed sports such as football, golf, tennis, and auto racing. He also enjoyed being outdoors fishing and riding dirt bikes. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren, and was a good husband, father, and grandfather.

Survivors include his wife of 37 years, Patricia Fairfax; two sons, Dennis Edward Paulk, and Patrick Ethan Fairfax; three daughters, Amy Marie Hannah, Virginia Nichole Fairfax, and Chelsea Ann Johnson; his mother, Carol Dowdy; his sister, Kimberly Jo Slater; his step-sister Valerie Michelle Dowdy; and 13 grandchildren.
