 HARLEM, Ga. - Mr. James R. Hamilton, 48, entered into rest Saturday, June 20, 2009. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 23, 2009, 11:00AM at the Harlem Baptist Church with the Rev. Philip Vestal officiating. Interment will be in the Harlem Memorial Cemetery, Harlem, GA. Mr. Hamilton was a resident of Harlem and a member of the Harlem Baptist Church. Survivors include his mother, Betty W. Hamilton, Harlem; one son, Cody R. Hamilton and one daughter, Amanda N. Hamilton; one sister, Shawn H. Birchfield, Harlem and one brother, Kirk G. (Lisa) Hamilton of Cox's Creek, KY. Additional survivors include three nieces, Talyn D. Birchfield, Taryn M. Birchfield and Sarah A. Hamilton and one nephew, Wesley J. Hamilton. Mr. Hamilton was the son of the late James M. Hamilton. Memorials may be made to the Harlem Baptist Church, Kitchen Services or Generations, PO Box 790, Harlem, GA 30814.
