WILMINGTON, N.C. - Entered into rest September 2, 2001, in Wilmington, Mr. Donald Howard Hodges Sr., Winnabo. A memorial service will be held today, September 6, 2001, at 7 p.m. in the Thomas L. King Funeral Home chapel with Father Elam officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 p.m. until the time of service. Mr. Hodges was born in Galvaston, Texas and had lived in the Harlem, Ga. area for 12 years. He was a truck driver and served with Honors in the U.S. Coast Guard for 13 years. Other family members include three sons, Donald Hodges Jr., Grovetown, Kevin Hodges and Steven Hodges of South Carolina; his mother, Theo Hodges; three brothers, William Hodges Jr. and Sean Hodges of Martinez and Robert Hodges of Cape May, N.J.; five sisters, Leslie Lowe and Carren Sleister of Harlem, Ga., Pamela Upps, Taffville, Conn., Debbie Hodges and Linda Winteer of Deland, Fla.; and a special friend, Jean Wiles of Winnabo.
