Obituary for Johnny Morris II

Johnny Wayne Morris II entered into rest on Sunday February 11,2024.

A resident of Harlem, Georgia for his whole life, Johnny is loved by so many. He was one of the most hardworking, tenacious, and kindhearted people you’d ever meet. He was as sharp as a tack, yet humble. Johnny valiantly and tirelessly fought a lifelong battle with cancer, liver disease, and kidney disease.

Johnny was predeceased by his parents, Vicki Morris Hoffa and Johnny Morris.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his faithful soulmate Ramona Morris and their two children, Emma Morris and Anna Morris; his brother, Michael Morris; his sister-in-law, Bridget Morris; his niece, Benton Vineyard; and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Amory and Donna Parker.

Johnny lived a full life and was always focused on quality over quantity. He loved his family with his whole heart; he wanted anything but to leave them.

Thank you to his forever friends, Jesse Pokrzywinski, Chris Gurley, Steven Schwartz and Steve Jeffries who always jumped at an opportunity to help him with a project, get together and play poker, or just go out for lunch.

In honor of Johnny’s wishes, no formal services will be held; however, a celebration of his life will be held at Whitaker Farms, 4500 Whitaker Road Harlem, on Saturday March 2, 2024 from 2-8pm.
