James Williams Obituary HEPHZIBAH, Ga. - Entered into rest on November 24, 2015, Mr. James Michael Williams, husband of Terry Lynn Williams of Hephzibah, Ga. Graveside services will be held Saturday, November 28, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. in Damascus Baptist Church Cemetery with Dr. Michael Davenport officiating. The family will receive friends Friday evening, November 27, 2015, at Thomas L. King Funeral Home from 6:30 - 8:00 p.m. Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his father, James Jefferson Williams. Additional survivors include his mother, Mrs. Bonnie Jean Grubbs, Appling, Ga.; one daughter, Harley Michelle Williams, Hephzibah, Ga.; two brothers, Vince Williams, North Augusta, SC, John Williams, Appling, Ga. Mr. Williams was a Baptist and lived in Augusta all of his life. He worked in the family business as a sign painter (Jimmy Williams Signs). I am so sorry to hear this news. When I moved to Appling in 8th grade, Jim was the first friend I made when I got to the new school. We hung out together almost all the time and had a blast being boys getting into everything we could.
