We will be celebrating our 30th Reunion in the Vodka Room at the Rusian Lady on Friday, November 23.  If you know of anyone who hasn't heard of this website, please spread the word and tell them to register here.

There will be more info to follow. Keep checking back here for updates.

Glad to see we are celebrating 30 years!  Is there a list of folks who are attending?

Julia, we are still working out the final details of the night and will post them here, (as well as on the  Facebook page) when they are finalized.  I don't anticipate us posting a list of names, so hopefully as people make plans to attend, they will add to this thread and post on Facebook. 

 
We are depending on word-of-mouth, this website and Facebook to get the word out about our 30th, so I ask you and anyone else reading this to encourage those that graduated in1982 to register here! This is where they will get the details about our reunion and where they can reconnect with others from the past!
 
Of course, we hope that all alumni, faculty and others with ties to South register here. We started this site in March 2010 and have reconnected 1,435 Rebels!  (Yes, we've added one more since last night.) Without an alumni office to help plan reunions and informal gatherings, this site is the next closest thing!
 
I hope to see you there!

I am having trouble posting a PDF of the invitation/RSVP to the 30th Reunion of the Class of 1982 on this site. I'm hoping to get it figured out soon, but in the meantime, if you'd like a copy emailed to you, please send me an email at -  1982SCHS@gmail.com

Please take some time today to reach out and spread the word about our Reunion and this website. The more people we have registered here, with up-to-date contact info, the better - as we plan not only this reunion, but those in the future!

South Catholic Class of 1982-

We are celebrating our 30th Reunion on Nov. 23, 2012 in the Vodka Room at the Russian Lady. If you are planning to attend, the RSVP deadline is 11/16. That’s this Friday!

We are using the ClassCreator website, Facebook and YOU to help us get the word out.

How can you help? There are a few ways-

  • The South Catholic ClassCreator website is where we are posting the latest details about the Reunion and where you can reconnect with others who have also registered there. (Click on "User Forum" on the left side of the page.) The website was started in March of 2010. We have 1,455 people registered- staff, alumni and friends/guests. We need people who have registered to tell others about it. Without a school, we don’t have an official alumni office to help maintain up-to-date contact information. You can help by forwarding this email to your friends. Spread the word! South may have closed, but the South Community is connecting at our virtual South Catholic on the web- https://www.classcreator.com/Hartford-CT-South-Catholic-1965-1991/class_index.cfm

 

  • Do you have Facebook? Post the Reunion info on your Facebook page and tell people to register at the ClassCreator website.

 

  • Email the invitation to friends who you know aren’t on Facebook and don’t know about the ClassCreator website. (If you want the invitation sent to your email, contact the committee at 1982SCHS@gmail.com . You cannot reply directly to this email. You'll have to start a new email.)

Please talk it up and get your RSVP sent to Dave Kozak! Once the committee receives your check, your ticket(s) will be mailed out to you. Tickets to our Private Party will be required to enter The Russian Lady and must be purchased in advance.

The Russian Lady is once again a hot spot in downtown Hartford! This Reunion is going to be PHENOMENAL! Don’t miss it!
