After attending technical school I went to work for the City of Hartford in 1986 as a mechanic. I retired from the City in 2006 as a division manager with the Public Works department. I was responsible for the management of the City's Fleet and Flood Operations. At the time of my retirement I was also the President of the Hartford Municipal Employees Association Union (HMEA) which represented managers and supervisory staff.

I got married in 1989 to Laura Gionfriddo. Buckley Class of 1985.

I am currently employed by the Town of Avon, Department of Public Works as the Superintendent of Operations.
