
Adonica W. Johnson-Talbert, 64, of Windsor Locks, passed away Monday, November 14, 2016. Born in Hartford, daughter of the late James W. Johnson and Margie W. Pope. She was raised in Hartford and attended Weaver High School in Hartford before receiving her associates degree from Central Connecticut State College. Adonica lived in the greater Hartford area her entire life. She was employed by CIGNA for 29 years; after retirement, she was an administrative assistant at Community Solutions since 2014. She enjoyed bowling and was a member of TNBA. Adonica leaves a brother James W. Johnson, Jr. of Windsor; a god-daughter Tina Matthews of Hartford; a cousin Tracye Johnson Larey; an aunt Rose Johnson of Hartford, and two god-sons, Armani Wright and Malcolm Holmes. She was predeceased by a brother Michael A. Johnson and a cousin Joyce R. Jackson. A Memorial Service will be held Friday, December 2, 2016, at 1 pm in the Chapel of the Carmon Windsor Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Avenue, Windsor. Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery.
