The funeral of Johnny Cooley 21, of 357 Garden St., who died Monday at Hartford Hospital as a result of injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident July 3, is Thursday at 11 a.m.

Born in Gaston, Ala., he lived here eight years. He was a member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church. He worked for the Hartford Insurance Group.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Karen Williams Cooley; a daughter Krista Cooley; his father, John Cooley, all of Hartford; his mother, Bertha Williams of Springfield; his maternal grand­mother, Mrs. Annie Mae Allen of Hopson City, Alabama; four brothers, William Cooley, Samuel Williams, Michael Williams, and Kalvin Williams, and a sister, Anna Williams, all of Springfield.

Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Wilson. Calling hours are today from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

The Rev. James B. Morrison will officiate. The Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Home, 749 Albany Ave., has charge of arrangements.
