Karen Lee (Shaw) Gordon, 46, of Norfolk Street, Hartford passed away Wednesday, (June 2, 1999) at St. Francis Hospital. She was a lifelong resident of Hartford. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Gordon, Jr., a son, Thomas Gordon III; her mother, Emma Shaw; two brothers, Thomas Shaw, Jr. and Leslie Shaw; three sisters, Sandra Benders, Pamela Patterson and Sharon Shaw; several nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Monday, June 7, 11 a.m. with calling hour at 10 a.m. at Welcome Baptist Church, 205 Bellevue Street, Hartford. Burial will be in Northwood Cemetery, Wilson. The Henry L. Fuqua Funeral Service, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield, has charge of arrangements.
