I was the Co-Captain of the East Team in the annual high school 1970 Nutmeg Bowl that took place in Bridgeport, CT. I was a tough street corner white kid from Meriden, CT and I will never forget how loyal, kind, strong and honorable Larry was. Larry judged me not by the color of my skin, but as a person and as a football player. Larry was also a darn good Defensive End. He was my friend and I hope Larry is happy and resting in peace in the Afterlife. Respectfully, Your friend Mike Lopos
