Mary Ann Gray passed away on July 31, 2013. Mary Ann was born January 24, 1952 in Blakely, GA. She was the daughter of the late Eddie C. and Irene (Hightower) Gray of Hartford. Mary Ann grew up in Hartford, where she attended Weaver High School. She recently retired from the State of CT., after 29 years of services. Mary Ann is survived by her loving mother; children, Jerome Cooper, Jr., Jessica Lynn Cooper and Justin Eddie Cooper all of Hartford; brothers, Robert Lee, Teddie, Derrick and Michael; sisters, Betty, Eunice, Gail and Yvonne; 11 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends. Besides her father she was predeceased by brother, Eddie Jr., Uncle "Wee" and god-sister Crystal Easterling. A celebration of her life will take place Saturday, August 10, 2013 at 12 p.m., at Howard K. Hill Funeral Services, 319 Barbour St., with a calling hour from 10 a.m.-12:00 p.m. Interment will be at Spring Grove Cemetery, 2035 Main St., Hartford CT.
