Patricia (Coleman). Wilkes, 56, of Windsor, peacefully passed away at St. Francis Hospital on Friday (June 8, 2007). She was born in Hartford and lived there most of her life. She is survived by her son, Mongo S. Coleman and his wife Simone Coleman, both of Hartford; her mother Ida R. Coleman; granddaughters, Brianna and Shamia Coleman; two brothers Clarence W. Hightower, Jr and Ricky Coleman; a sister Theresa L. Coleman. She was predeceased by her husband, Shelton Wilkes; her father Willie H. Coleman; her brother Willie C. Coleman; and sister Geraldine C. Coleman. She also leaves to mourn her nieces Tia N. Coleman, Leticia R. Coleman and LeEtta M. Coleman of Hartford and Santabia Allen of Orlando, FL. Great nephews Anthony W.J. and DaShawn Coleman. Great nieces, Janiece, Alexis and Santabia of Connecticut. A special friend Dennis Stewart of Hartford. Patricia was a faithful employee of Harborside Healthcare. She also leaves a host of other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank St. Francis Cancer Center and the oncology nurses on 8-1. Services will be held Thursday, June 21, with calling hours at 6 p.m., service will begin at 7 p.m. at The First Cathedral, 1151 Bloomfield Ave, Bloomfield, CT 06002. Fuqua Funeral Home in charge of arrangements, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield, CT. Private burial to be held at Cedar Hill Cemetery at a later date.
