Valorie Jenkins - Gaines, 63, of Hartford, Connecticut, daughter of Lenora Carcade beloved mother of Troy Jenkins (married to Tina Jenkins) Crystal Jenkins, Valorie Tina Gaines, Charles Frank Gaines Jr and her eternal son Damien Calloway passed away peacefully on Tuesday June 22, 2015. She is a proud grandmother of Sequence, Troianna, Quiceny, Sierra, Noah, Carter and Elissa. She leaves behind her sister Jeanette Hill, several nieces and nephews that she truly loved. Valorie's smile was one that a stranger could not pass by, her abilities to draw you closer into listening to her stories about her kids and family where powerful. Valorie lived for her kids, she was a woman who believed anything could happen if you fought  for it , she wasn't one to give up easy. She was determined about everything she did. The love and energy she shown for her life and her family was untouchable. There wasnt a moment she didnt say I love you or reach over to give you a kiss. Her red lipstick always left a mark on your cheeks, to remind you were touched by her presence. She is a woman who has define with a strong woman/mother is.
 Valorie has left this world to join her sister Donna Jenkins, brothers Leslie Jenkins , Thomas Jenkins and other family members that welcome her arrival.
