Iona Ann-Marie Lord

LORD, Iona Ann-Marie of Bloomfield died peacefully Saturday (November 27, 2010) at Hartford Hospital. Born in Mandeville, Manchester, Jamaica W.I. to Byles Sylvester Nelson and Gloria Stewart-Daley on Feb. 21, 1967. She migrated to the U.S. in October 1981 when she received a bachelor's degree in actual science at the University of Connecticut. She leaves behind husband Alman, children Alman Jr., Dayna, Melissa and Mathew. Parents Byles and Gloria. She also leaves a brother Fitz Albert and sister Yvonne and a host of nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. at the Faith Seventh Day Adventist Church, 500 Woodland St., Hartford on Sunday, Dec. 5. Donations will be accepted on behalf of her children's college fund by Peoples Bank.
