Henry A. Brown, Jr. "Dr. Lovemaker"

BROWN, Henry A., Jr. "Dr. Lovemaker" 40, of Bloomfield, passed away on Friday, (October 7, 2005) at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford, he was the son of Henry and Ruby Brown (Robinson). He lived in Hartford most of his life with his family and moved to Bloomfield 18 years ago. He graduated from Weaver High School. He leaves to mourn his passing, his loving mother, Ruby Brown; his brother, Terry Brown, Sr. of East Hartford; his beloved daughter Ashley Brown of Hartford; two nieces, Tonya and Tanisha; and a nephew, Terry Brown, Jr. of West Hartford. He also leaves a great host of aunts, including his favorite, Vera Bowens, uncles, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his father, Henry Brown, his paternal grandparents, Calvin and Larlie Brown, and his maternal grandparents, Allen and Vera Robinson, and a sister, Jackie Phillips. Hank was well known for being a fun loving person, loved to dance, he was kind hearted, and always willing to lend a helping hand. He was great with electronics, including working on his favorite pastime, the CB radio. He was known across the waves as Dr. Lovemaker. The family will receive friends and relatives at the Henry Fuqua Funeral Services, 94 Granby St., Bloomfield. Calling hours are from 10 - 12 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 12 Noon. Burial will be at Mount St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield.
