Fond memories of Charlie in art class, working on his cars and being a friend to everyone. Charlie had no "hidden agendas", and was just a down right good person and friend. I remember the dances to music sung by the Rockin Hollywoods.  I remember the excitement in his voice the day he called to tell me he proposed to Julie. He couldn't wait to spend the rest of his life with her and I am So pleased to hear they remained best friends through the rest of his life, along with his faith in Jesus. It's a promise that helps many of us out. I pray Julie and their two children hold on to this promise and find comfort. When you love someone and they pass, you Never get over it, you just learn to adjust. I pray Charlie's acts of kindness have passed through to the many lives he has touched.

I have been friends with Charles since freshman year spanish class.  I will eventually forget the discussions we shared about our different and rare forms of cancer, but I will always remember the lessons Charles' taught me about life.  He respected me for who I was, not for who he wanted me to be.  His passion for life and christ will live on, and he will be deeply missed.

Julie, I am so sorry for you and your family.  I remember Charlie as a very kind and decent person and I know he will be missed by so many.  My thoughts are with you.

Carol
