Being a Mother and Grandmother was at the core of Carol's existence and was the great joy in her life. The following quote sums up her lifetime: "A mother holds her children's hands for a while…their hearts forever." -

I have so many wonderful and fond memories of Carol. We were best friends in St. Matthews elementary school and I was so warmly welcomed at Carol's home. We had such fun playing with dolls and swimming in her family's pool. I am so sorry to hear of her passing. She was a warm kind and generous spirited friend.
