Bob...i miss you and will always Love you...i too almost killed myself...maybe i wont have to now...you didnt die in vain Buddy.God please forgive him and let him know Peace. But for the Grace of God go i.
I made this promise to myself many years ago. If I met anyone who served in Viet Nam I would be honored to shake their hand, look them in the eye and say Thank You.
Robert, I may not be able to shake your hand, nor look into your eyes but I can say "Thank You for your Honor, sense of duty and trying to do what was right". God Bless you and God Bless America.
It was sad to hear of your passing. I heard you had a tough time after returning from Nam. You were a good guy and I'll always remember you as an upbeat, friendly free-spirit that was nice to everyone.
So sorry you aren't with us. I had some of the best laughs with you. Most of them revolve around gym and goofing off in the lockeroom. I don't remember exact situations or events - (alotta that happening lately). But I can tell you this. As I am typing I can't see a clear image of any particular event but I am smiling and chuckling because that's the time we had together. My pleasure man. Semper Fi
Spider, While we were in school, you were always the man over the top, especially at the parties. After graduation, I was working at Sam Goodies at the Mall, and I'll never forget, you and Jim Motovick came in to the store to see me and get high. That is when I knew the Nam had fucked you up big time. Now both of you are gone and I grieve both of you. I honer your service, and regret what the Nam did to you man. Rest in peace my friend... rest in peace. Greg
