Bobby did achieve his dreams of playing flute professionally and traveled with well known orchestras. Unfortunately while in France he contracted AIDS and died not long after. July 9, 1950-April 1988
Slight correction: Bobby's birthdate should obviously be 1950. His death occurred around 1994, as I recall.
I last spoke to him in 1982a wonderful multi-hour conversation on a major brokerage's TIE line. He was happy in a relationship, although he was doing data entry for his paycheck instead of playing. Orchestras simply weren't hiring.
