I still think about 'Pancho', even after all these years. I'm saddened to see that he has died and would appreciate anyone who knows more about his death (and him) to please contact me and let me know. If I remember correctly, he lived fairly close to Fairwiew elementary and I used to go to his house once in awhile. He was always a nice, calm type of guy, very laid back during his school years. He was the one who taught me how to 'cut'. Most of you may think that would mean cutting school, no way. 'Cutting'; is the art of turning on a dime while running. Something like a running back would do. That was probably in 4th grade, almost 50 years ago and I still remember! Always a great friend, always a peacemaker, always dependable, always willing to help. Sadly, I don't remember seeing him much in high school.

Thanks Pancho,
Alan Voetsch

Poncho died from a congentital heart deffect he inherrited from his Father. He had been sick for awhile and passed quietly in his sleep. Lone Tree is where he lives now, close to his old home. Poncho was a good friend to me and my children. After high school he inlisted in the Navy, I think, and became a Union Electriction. Yes, he was kind and most of all could do anything. If you asked him what he wanted he would reply "Simplicity"

I was friends with Bill, Pancho ' s father, who managed the liquor store at B&Kelly for the Greer family. Bill was a gentle giant. Retired navy. Pancho learned many things from Bill: mostly honesty and being a dependable person. I recall those traits in Pancho. Jeff Luhn
