Br. Bilic was associated with St. Xavier's from the very beginning and was responsible for supervising the construction of many of the early buildings as well as furnishing the classrooms with benches and tables. He retired to Australia in 1966 and died there in the late 60s. Br. Bilic was actually the first Jesuit to make his home at "Balmoral" before it became part of St. Xavier's. ( info taken from Fr.
