CHARLES CORZINE Obituary

Charles "Corky" Corzine, 54, of Orange City (Originally of St. Louis, MO), passed away Saturday, September 10, of a heart attack. He was born in St. Louis, MO on March 14, 1957, to Bobbie and Geraldine Corzine. Corky graduated from Hazelwood High School in 1975 and Stetson University in 1989 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Education. He was married to his high school sweetheart Karen (nee' Miller) on July 30, 1977. Corky was a vivacious soul, full of life, love and laughter. He was a sports and outdoors enthusiast, playing in basketball, softball and dart leagues, enjoyed golf, loved to fish, alligator hunting and was an avid NASCAR fan. He also enjoy wood-working, gardening, and spending time with his family. He is survived by his wife Karen; daughters Amy (Tim) and Emily; mother Geraldine Corzine; sister Cindy; brothers Bob and Kirk (Jennifer); nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews; aunts, uncles, cousins, and the many friends that loved him. He is also expecting his first grandchild. A memorial service will be held Thursday, September 15 at 7:00pm at Lankford Funeral Home in DeLand, FL.
