He was predeceased by: his mother Virginia Pettig. He is survived by: his father Donald Pettig (Marjorie); his wife Paula L. Pettig of Saint Peters, MO; his son Andrew Pettig (Jennifer); his grandson Logan; his son George Pettig (Jeri); his granddaughter Kimberly Pettig; his sister Rebecca Pettig; his aunt Bonnie Shear; his uncle Bruce Liebsch (Mary); his mother-in-law Onalee Arnold; and his siblings-in-law, Novalee Coats (Jimmie), Michael Arnold (LeAnn) and Sabra Ehlert (Kurt). He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund or Grace Community Chapel in remembrance of Craig Pettig.
