Joseph Paul Savarino of Hazelwood, Missouri passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at the age of 64. The world has lost a great husband, father, grandfather, uncle, brother, brother in law, and cousin. Joe was born in St. Louis on February 13, 1957, to father Frank Savarino and mother Dorothy Savarino. The youngest of three children, Joe was a skilled soccer and baseball player. His strong work ethic and desire to take care of his family, led him to graduate from Webster University in 1988. Joe and his wife, Mary Eileen, relocated to Texas in 1995 in order to continue his successful career. When Joe wasn't busy working at Boeing, he was rooting for the St. Louis Cardinals while rolling spiedinis. The love he had for his family was brought out though his lavishing dishes made in the kitchen. The only other place you could find Joe was on the stream at Montauk, fly fishing for trout, or catfishing at The Lake of the Ozarks. Joe was preceded in death by his parents. He is survived by his wife of 37 years Mary Eileen Savarino; sons Michael Savarino and Patrick Savarino; daughter in law Megan Savarino; grandchild Noah Savarino; sisters Marilyn Bosco and Barbara Amos and friend to many. A visitation for Joe is planned for Friday, August 27, 2021, from 5 pm to 8 pm. The visitation will be at Hutchens Mortuary and Cremation Center 675 Graham Rd. Florissant, MO 63031. All are invited to attend. A funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, August 28, 2021 at Sacred Heart Church of Florissant 751 N Jefferson St, Florissant, MO 63031. Burial to immediately follow at Calvary Cemetery and Mausoleum 5239 W Florissant Ave, St. Louis, MO 63115.
