Just wanted to write and say that I am the wife of Preston Headley's son "Preston". My name is Christina Headley. I wanted to send this message for my husband, he wanted to thank everyone for remembering his Dad the way they have. His mom Nancy, recently got a package in the mail with a recognition plaque given in his honor at one of your get togethers and passed it on to him for safe keeping. Then this week I got the Northumberland Echo and decided to check out your website! It is really nice. Being a graduate of Northumberland High School myself (Class of 96), I was quite interested. Because I thought that it was so neat that you had added a profile for Preston, I wanted to contribute some info that I knew too! Mr. Headley unfortunately passed away Dec. of 1993 from a heart attack. Nancy has since moved on and currently resides in Tappahannock, Va. Her and Preston have a second son James Douglas Headley who is now 21 and a granddaughter Shelby Grace Headley who will be 3 in Jan. Preston and I and all other family members greatly appreciate you giving us one more memory to add to the family history that we didnt know much about!
