Carol Anne Doyle (Frasier)

Carol Doyle Frasier, 45, of 7315 Priest Pass Road, died unexpectedly, Friday, at St. Peter's Community Hospital. She was born in Boca Raton, Fla., Jan. 1, 1947, to James J. and Gloria Doyle.  They moved to Great Falls where she attended school before moving to Helena in 1964.  She was a 1965 graduate of Helena High School.

On Dec. 13, 1965, she married Stan Frasier in Helena.

She was the proprietor of Frasier's Art Gallery for several years, and was later employed by the Public Service Commission, the State Historical Society, and currently as a librarian for the Fish, Wildlife and Parks Department.

Mrs. Frasier was a resident potter at Archie Bray Foundation.  She was an accomplished watercolor painter and taught senior citizens and adult education classes.

She was a member of the Helena Weaver's Guild and the Republican Women's Federation.

Her father preceded her in death in 1982.

Survivors include her husband; her mother, Gloria Doyle of Helena; a daughter, Dawn Frasier of Seattle; two brothers, James Doyle of Apple Valley, Calif., and Capt. Tom Doyle, Fort Sill, Okla.; three sisters, Dr. Kathy Doyle, of Portage, Wis., Gloria Carpenter, of Phoenix, Ariz., and Marguerite Vollstedt of Kalispell; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at the Retz Funeral Chapel with Rev. Gayle Sandholm officiating.  Cremation will follow the services.  Friends may pay their respects beginning Tuesday morning at Retz Funeral Home.
