Georgia Mae Duncan (French Wiles)

Georgia was born Sept. 25, 1946, in Helena to George F. Duncan and Mae Haskin Duncan.

She died July 29, 2011, at St. Peter’s Hospital after a brief illness.

She attended Bryant Elementary School, Helena Junior High and graduated from Helena High School. She worked at the Cooney Home and the state of Montana.

She married Jay French, and they had three children. They divorced and she later married John L. Wiles. They had a daughter.

She was preceded in death by her husband, John L. Wiles; her parents; and her brother, Douglas Duncan.

Georgia loved her yard, flowers and enjoyed feeding the birds and squirrels. She also enjoyed crocheting beautiful afghans for her children.

She is survived by her sons, Jay (Michelle) French Jr. and George (Shauna) French; daughters, Angie French ( Jess Jungers) and Brandi (Kirk) Martinez; and nine grandchildren.

There will be a celebration of Georgia’s life at the Smiths’ home, 571 Valley View Road on Friday, Aug. 5, at 6 p.m.
