In Memory

Kim Martin McCluskey

Kim Martin McCluskey

Kim "Moses" McCluskey was born January 27, 1947 to Zoe and Jack McCluskey, and passed away on September 12, 2010 in Tucson, Arizona. He was recently diagnosed with bladder cancer.

Kim was a man of many talents. He went through some very hard times in his life, but for the last 19 years was proudly clean and sober. During his years in Southern California he ran a hugely successful half-way house for recovering addicts. He fell in love with the Arizona desert

and some 7 years ago packed it all up and moved there. He gravitated towards the artistic community and began making and selling his pottery. In the last two years he turned to massage therapy, and was just establishing himself as a real professional massage therapist when he got sick.

Kim was a true friend to many. He was a proud member of the Stone Sober Motorcycle Club in Tucson. He loved his Harley. When asked where the name "Moses" came from, Kim related that one day years ago he and some friends were walking down the street and a man came up to him and asked, "Are you Moses? Because you sure look like him!" The name stayed with him.

Kim was preceded in death by his father and mother and his brother Roger. He also has a sister, and a daughter who friends are searching for.

In Kim's memory, do something good for someone you love, or tell them how much you care about them. He would like that! Namaste, dear friend!

There is not a published obituary for Kim yet. Not sure there will be. But the following is the information I have so far. Have folks who were related by marriage doing research for me, but it all takes time. In the mean time, this will have to do.  Chris Love
