Gary Wade Moudree

Petty Officer Gary Wade Moudree, USN, 24, formerly of Toston, died Tuesday in San Jose, Calif., as a result of motorcycle accident injuries.

He was born in Bozeman and attended schools in Crow Creek, Toston and Townsend and graduated from Helena High School in 1965.

Moudree entered the Navy in March, 1966.  He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Helena and was a member of the Edward C. Day Chapter of DeMolay.

He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Herman Moudree of Toston; one brother, Daniel of Toston; two sisters, Marcia Kay of Bozeman and Denise Marie of Toston; a paternal grandmother, Mrs. Anna Moudree of Townsend; and a maternal grandmother, Mrs. Stanley Foot of Helena.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Christian Church with the Rev. Jack L. Hart officiating.  Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Cemetery with military honors.  The funeral is being directed by the Retz Funeral Home.
