Bonnie Joy Peterson (Revious)

Bonnie Joy Peterson Revious, 49, of Great Falls, formerly of Helena, passed away Thursday morning at a Great Falls hospital of cancer.

Bonnie was born in Helena, Feb. 25, 1947, to Douglas and Floy Peterson. She received her education in Helena and graduated from Helena High School, then attended IBM Computer Training in St. Louis, Mo. And Rick’s College at Rexburg, Idaho. She moved to Great Falls in 1984, and continued her education at the College of Great Falls in 1984 and continued her education at the College of Great Falls, where she received her paralegal degree in 1987, and was employed by the law firm Church, Harris, Johnson, and Williams at the time of her death.

Bonnie was a past honored queen of Bethel No. 5, International Order of Job’s Daughters in Helena. She reigned as Miss Last Chance Stampede Queen and Miss Rodeo Montana in 1964. Her devout membership in the Latter-Day Saints Church has given her great comfort in her final days.

Bonnie and her daughter, Darby, enjoyed their horsemanship and belonged to the Great Falls Saddle Club. She enjoyed snow skiing, bowling, camping and dancing, particularly with her youngest son, Douglas.

She is survived by her four children, Lloyd Noel and his wife, Auriel of Bozeman, Jason Wayne of Helena, Darby Jodine who resided with Bonnie in Great Falls and Douglas Fred of Missoula; three grandchildren, Joshua, Ancasha and Kassiana Revious of Bozeman; her parents of Helena; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Douglas Ferrin, Jr. and Linda Peterson of Marysville and Jesse Duane and Jenny Peterson of Dillon; a nephew Mattee Isham Peterson of Marysville; and her grandmother, Frances F. Synness of Helena.

Memorials are suggested to the Montana Race for the Cure, P.O. Box 9248, Helena, MT, 59604 or the donor’s choice.

Services will be held Monday at 10 a.m. in Great Falls at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Days Saints, 1015 15th Ave. So. with Bishop David Wright officiating. Burial will take place at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Helena.
