William J. Taylor Jr. was born to William and Isabella (Klei) Taylor on November 19, 1946. Bill attended schools in Helena, Class of ’65. He worked for the Montana National Guard until he accepted a position with Bell Helicopter, working in Iran. Bill moved his family to Phoenix, AZ in 1978 where he was employed by Knight Transportation. He married Diana Schimetz in April of 1967. Their union blessed them with a daughter, Amanda Rae…whom he was very proud.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Bill and Liz Taylor and his sister, Dawn. He also leaves a sister, Betsy (Jim) Phillips of Helena, two nieces and their families in Great Falls.

He truly enjoyed boating and camping at the Gates of the Mountains. One activity he looked forward to was a good action movie and a bucket of buttered popcorn. Touring Arizona on his motorcycle was also a big thrill for him. Bill will be missed dearly by family and friends. Rest in peace, Daddy, I will miss you forever.
