*********************************

James "Ty" Typolt, formerly of Bozeman, went home to be with his Savior and Lord Jesus Christ on September 25th following complications from knee replacement surgery.

Now living in Red Lodge, he is survived by his cherished wife of 42 years, Evelyn Jean "Jeanie" Zumbrun Typolt, his children Ryan Typolt and his wife Stacy, Josie Typolt Madsen, her husband Tre, grandchildren Selah, Milla, Everleigh, and Lincoln, and his sisters Sheilah Childs and Sharie Noel.

Ty was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and brother who loved his family and lived his life striving to be a man after God's heart while desiring to show His love to others. An employee of the State of Montana, he also served 38 years in the Montana Army National Guard and retired as a Command Sergeant Major.

He spent the final two years of his life cultivating a passion for ranching with his friend and brother-in-law, Earl Zumbrun. Ty's life was an example of a life well lived and he will be dearly missed but we know he is now truly "Livin' the Dream" with his Heavenly Father.

Pastor Joel Krise and Pastor Bryan Hughes officiated.

Casketbearers were Ryan Typolt, Earl Zumbrun, Cleve Loney, Tre Madsen, Tim Zumbrun and Bob Fletcher.

Above information came from the funeral program.
