May 17, 1947 - February 5, 1991

Jill Michele Larson, 43, of 220 Custer Avenue West, died at her home on Tuesday as a result of gunshot wounds.

She was born in Helena on May 17, 1947, to Michael and Melba Montgomery Koich.  She attended Jefferson Grade School and Helena High School.

After graduation from Madio's Beauty College, she began work for Hirsts Beauty Salon, and then worked for Hennessey's Beauty Salon for several years.

She operated Jill's Styling Salon in Dillon for five years, returning to Helena in 1990 to continue working as a beautician.

Survivors include her son, Blain Wegner of Dillon; mother Melba Montgomery and step-father George McGaffick of Helena; father and step-mother Michael S. and Jean Koich of Helena; sister and brother-in-law, Marsha and Earl McCall of Denver, Colo.; step-brother, Wayne A. Seiller of Clancy; and numerous aunts and uncles.

Cremation has taken place.  Memorial services will be conducted at 11 a.m.  Saturday at the Retz Funeral Chapel with the Rev. William Phillips officiating.
